1:15 - 2:45pm - Tour of Rental Car Facility: The Nashville International Airport recently opened its new, customer-friendly, consolidated rental car facility. The new facility, which is within walking distance from the Terminal, consists of a 3 story, ready/return garage with capacity for 2400 vehicles and a quick-turn-around facility that includes fueling, vacuuming and car washing capabilities. Having the operations consolidated in this facility has greatly increased the efficiency and operations of the rental car operators and saves and estimated 800,000 miles per year on Airport roadways. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to tour Nashville International’s new consolidated rental car facility.
2:45 - 3:30pm - Tour of Terminal Concessions Program: The Concession Program at the Nashville International Airport (BNA) has recently garnered several industry accolades for its concepts, services and customer service outreach, including the Richard A. Griesbach Award of Excellence Winner in the 2011 ACI-NA Airport Concessions Contest. “We’re extremely pleased to be recognized by the airport industry for our exceptional customer service initiatives, unique services and concessions,” said Raul Regalado, president & CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA). “We remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence in providing premier facilities and services to passengers, business partners and employees, which we call the Nashville Airports Experience.” BNA concessions and facilities were updated during a terminal renovation project, which was completed in 2010. During the project, BNA welcomed more than 30 new food, beverage and retail vendors; opened a central security checkpoint; and added concourse skylights and flight information displays.
